Ok As some of you may or may not know, the fellows over @ Source Forge have released Apo 3d so get your butts over here----> [link] @ start making flames in the 3rd dimension
Also a friend of mine Petri over @ Rendo has alerted me to a party demo called Iridescence which links music @ animated 3d apo flames in a very cool demo. Check it ----> [link] download, unpack and click on the file named "run" in the Iridescence folder!
If you're unfamiliar with what a demo is, take time to explore that site (www.pouet.net). Happy viewing!

Burning Man Pix
Well ive survived another Burning Man & now am suffering from reality bends.. ie Cramps felt in the mind & spirit after returning to the "real" world. The Man actually burnt twice this year. A preformance artist climbed the man on the first night & set fire to it. He was promptly arrested & got his 15 minutes of fame. Electricity for me was a bit scarce this year & i only got to charge my camera once The following pix are a small fraction of what i saw @ this years event. ..... TRANSMISSION ENDS

Inspiring Artist of the Week
Some of you may or may have not seen my feeble attempts at 3D & im constantly reminded of how amazing this style of digital really is, by the incredible artists here @ DA. emciem's gallery has some great organic examples of this. I must learn Maya
Matt, as this weeks "Inspiring artist of the week", i salute you
I would love to have the chance to go to Burning Man, but, there's one little problem: I live way too far and I don't have the means to do it, in many many levels... What's something really sad...
I saw these pics and it just made me wanna go there even more!
start testing out the new variations. .. you need to experiment moving them in the z-axis ... rather than x & y as you have been doing with previous apo versions...im still not sure wot im doing half the time myself
