Trippy. Really gorgeous - I love how you've got shines and glows going on in there, as if this were a 3D render with insane raytracing or something. And yeah, nothing rhymes with Orange very well. Also, fantastic colors - screw the rhyming BS.
Citrus, on the other hand, you could've used, and gotten a couple of interesting word choices to go with it.
'Sporange' - a small pouch used by Scotsmen for the storage of snacking fruit? I'd be tempted to argue that it's only the final syllable that counts for rhyming, plus there's the somewhat archaic tradition of the written (i.e. non-phonetic) rhyme so, off the top of the head:
I totally agree - but the pedant in me needed to toss that concept into the fray, if only for formal rejection. The final syllable thing, however, does have at least some traction, certainly regarding those polysyllabics "dangerous, marathon and discombobulate"
rhyming is such a complex art. I mean, I've only just begun to really understand it from reading Stephen Frys 'The Ode Less Travelled'... slight clicks of the tongue, minute sibilance and the like all adds up to half-rhymes, quarter-rhymes e.t.c e.t.c
