It reminds me of one of those decorations you open and clip together for special occasions on acid. The honey combs are colored and shaded to perfection. Then you get to the top and it reminds me of one of my favorite authors Theodore Geissel (Dr. Seuss), the way it climbs to the sky. The coloring to this piece of work is phenominal. I did notice the white sort of filled honey combs in the back ground. They do make the hive pop a little bit more with their colors. You should be able to climb this hive play hide and go seek. It is just a really fun piece of art. If I had money I wouldn't buy this print. I want it real, I want to play, eat and sleep. I never thought a piece of art this simple but complex would have such a deep impact on a person. Great work!
Triumph...that is the first feeling from this piece, the blue, green and magenta inner shadows give the feeling of comfort and the opposite which is red, yellow and orange, gives a feeling of warmth. This has both pride and comfort working together and the faded ones in the background made it a 'cut above the rest'. Not feeling the base of the main artwork as it poses to be a distraction (just a bit), however the reflection of colours are kept, making you an artist that spends time on preparing rather than quick finishing. It is a very interesting piece not sure of the subliminal outcome but still pleasing to the eyes.
