Andrew, I don't remember ever seeing this before. I was struck by the beauty, by the dramatic impact of it.
One of the things I love about black & white, and black and grey fractals is that they have a beauty all there own.
They don't have all that glitz and glamor to make them beautiful. They have a different quality to them that is just as beautiful.
The depth of this blows me away. I saw this and I thought ''infinite infinities'. (Why can't I think of good titles like that, for my work?) I also think that as artists who use as much color as fractal artists do, we sometimes forget the beauty of less color. A good example of "less is more"
I also like the the placement of this. It draws the eyes to it, and then draws them down, into it.
Do not forget Yellow Magic Orchestras "Gradated grey"!
My car radio's playing a song That makes me feel very strange It's taken so long Through the gradation of the grey scale A landscape like I've never seen As far as my eyes can see Out on the road I've seen so many shades, shades of grey
Now I'm back in the tunnel again Every minute, every second I can feel it getting closer Speeding ahead To where grey meets white
I was struck by the beauty, by the dramatic impact of it.
